Microelectronics Engineer as Senior Staff Engineer - Semiconductor Device Design (f/m/div)

In your new role, you will:

• Analyze data from simulations, laboratory measurements, and manufacturing data
• Create technology and device concepts
• Evaluate component performance
• Contribute to the development team and operate the interfaces within the team to EDA, REL, Test, and Process Integration
• Participate in the creation of test chips and setting up complex split experiments
• Perform TCAD simulations to support research and development of our next-generation technologies
• Define future products in cooperation with our business lines

As a Senior Staff Engineer TCAD Concept Engineer IC Technology, you take new challenges without knowing the right path to an eventual solution in advance is not a problem for you. Furthermore, you respect different attitudes and points of view and using the creative potential they offer. Lastly, you inspire others with your ideas and can explain complex issues clearly and convincingly.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Microelectronics or comparable; a PhD would be a plus
• At least 5 years of working experience in semiconductor device design
• Comprehensive knowledge of Semiconductor Process & Device Physics with special emphasis on power devices
• Proficiency with TCAD tools (Synopsis or similar) for process and device simulation
• Experience in statistical design and evaluation of experiments
• Fundamental knowledge of systematic problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D) as a plus
• Fluent English language skills, good German skills are additionally desirable
