Microbiology Lab Assistant - Healthcare Science

NHS is seeking a Healthcare Science Assistant (Band 2) to join its Microbiology Service in Bromborough, Wirral. The successful candidate will assist Biomedical Scientists with the preparation and examination of clinical specimens, while performing clerical duties. Level 2 qualifications in Maths, English, and Sciences are essential, alongside effective communication skills. Previous laboratory experience is a plus, but training will be provided. The core working hours are Monday to Friday, with additional shifts required.
