Microbiology Healthcare Science Assistant (Band 2)

A healthcare organization in Wirral is seeking a Healthcare Science Assistant to support Biomedical Scientists in receiving, preparing, and examining clinical specimens. The role requires a minimum of NVQ2 or GCSE Grade C in Mathematics, English, and one Science subject. Candidates should be methodical and organized, with good communication skills. Although previous laboratory experience in microbiology is advantageous, training will be provided. This is a permanent position with core hours from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
