We are seeking an experienced Metals Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation of operational setups across the physical precious and base metals markets. This role is essential to ensuring that all logistics, compliance, and market-specific requirements are fully addressed during the project phase. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in metals operations, strong knowledge of LBMA practices, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
Main ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of operational processes for physical precious and base metals.
Oversee end-to-end logistics, including insurance, freight, and transportation management.
Manage vaulting operations and ensure delivery requirements within the LBMA market are fully met.
Conduct due diligence, monitoring, and control activities for effective inventory management.
Coordinate efforts across teams to ensure a seamless and efficient operational setup.
Proven experience of implementing operations processes.
Deep understanding of the physical precious and base metals markets.
Proven experience with LBMA market operations and vaulting processes.
Knowledge of global metals futures markets, particularly LME and COMEX.
Strong track record of effective inventory management.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams.
Experience managing physical gas positions.
Familiarity with additional commodities logistics.
