Job Description

Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, supports, brackets, frames, and enclosures in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications.

Interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Measure, mark, cut, bend, shape, and fit metal materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.

Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, guillotines, presses, and cutting tools.

Carry out welding, tacking, grinding, and finishing work as required.

Manufacture and install supports for mechanical, electrical, piping, and instrumentation systems.

Conduct quality inspections to ensure fabricated components meet dimensional and project requirements.

Assist with site installation and modification works during construction and commissioning phases.

Maintain accurate fabrication and material records.

Ensure compliance with project quality standards and customer specifications.

Adhere to all site health and safety requirements, including permit-to-work systems and safe working practices.

Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines.

Minimum 3 years' experience in metal fabrication within industrial construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or data centre environments.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and carbon steel materials.

Proficiency in measuring, cutting, bending, assembling, and fitting fabricated components.

Experience using a range of fabrication tools and workshop equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a construction environment.

Previous experience on semiconductor, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or large-scale industrial projects would be an advantage.
