Position: Team Member

Location: Carrickfergus

Hourly rate: £12.80 per hour

Hours per week: 37 per week, including weekends and public holidays.

Working hours are between 8.30am and midnight on a rota basis. Full flexibility is required.

Who Are Oasis?

Oasis is an established, major gaming operator in Northern Ireland, operating Adult Gaming Centres and a Family Entertainment Centre and became part of the UK MERKUR Family in late 2025. Oasis continues to go from strength to strength.

About You

We are looking for somebody who can demonstrate excellent communication and people skills and has a passion for providing first-class service. We need you to be flexible and able to work on a rota basis that includes weekends and Bank Holidays. You must be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 1 years' customer service experience
• Minimum of 1 years' cash handling experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft computer systems such as outlook, word, excel
• Confident in your ability to move and lift machines

Desirable Criteria

• Previous industry experience or knowledge
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English

Your Role will include

Working closely with the Venue Manager and Supervisors on the following:

• In this customer service role, you will ensure high levels of housekeeping and presentation throughout the whole location at all times.
• Ensure high standards of service and hospitality are always delivered to all customers.
• Maintaining high levels of presentation in all areas of work.
• Ensuring Company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Be aware of the security of Company property, reporting anything suspicious immediately.
• Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
• Communicate with customers and other staff effectively.
• Report any machine faults and errors immediately.
• Any other duties as required.Generally working within your allocated branch, although there may be requirements to cover in other Oasis Branches.
