Position

Venue Manager - Catford

Salary: £40,060.80 per annum - plus bonus opportunities

Hours per week: 45

Location: Catford

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre
  • Champion company standards and best practice within the venue
  • Ensure marketing, promotional activities and events are delivered correctly
  • Maintain physical and personal security, control cash/assets and minimise risk of loss
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times, building and maintaining relationships with regular customers
  • Operate in accordance with LCCP
  • Develop your team and complete training in line with launches, refreshes and company policy
  • Ensure staff are properly managed and address poor performance or misconduct promptly and professionally
  • Recruit and train new team members for the venue
  • Maintain market and competitor awareness
  • Ensure cash collections are carried out according to company procedures
  • Monitor and analyse machine income levels
  • Achieve KPIs and audit requirements, including international, compliance etc.
  • Adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures, ensuring the venue operates safely
  • Complete all administration tasks to the required standard and on time
  • Actively manage and promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures
  • Respond positively, promptly and appropriately to all customer feedback and enquiries
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and ensure all employees adhere to the brand dress code
  • Actively discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation or discrimination of any kind against employees, management or customers on grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief
Qualifications & Experience
  • Ability to work to budgeted targets
  • Management experience within retail, hospitality or the gambling sector is desired
  • Experience with management reporting and administration
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience creating staff rotas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Understanding of budgeting and Profit and Loss reports
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if the venue is a 24 hour operation)
