MEP Coordinator

We have an excellent new opportunity for a MEP Coordinator to work on major projects with a Main Contractor based in Cork.

This role would suit someone with approx 4 to 5 Years commercial experience.

As part of the day to day you will:

• Coordinate all phases of the MEP Services
• Fully engage in Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing, Commissioning & Verification
• Co-ordinate Design Team information & Technical Submittals in line with the Project Schedule
• Track and manage the flow of information between the Design Team and Specialist Subcontractors
• Ensure implementation of the MEP deliverables
• Monitor all Installations ensuring all stage checks are completed in accordance with Specifications/Approved Submittals
• Provide the Project Teams with updates on MEP installation and progress with Weekly Report-Out
• Ensure that the MEP works on site are in line with all Health and Safety Standards
• Demonstration of MEP Systems to Client / Client Representatives in accordance with Design Parameters.
• Coordination and timely submittal of the Safety File Data for the Client on Project Completion.
• Assist in the production and upload of BCAR documentation

To be considered you should have:

• A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
• 4-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent IT skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite
• Ability to navigate BIM Models
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good planning and organisation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Knowledge of Cause & Effect
• Experience of Building commissioning including W1/W2/W3 walkdowns & Handovers
