An Alternative Provision College based in the heart of Chichester is looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support primary aged children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students face a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, and challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Mental Health Teaching Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, is committed to building strong relationships, is empathetic and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills and has on-site parking. The ideal Mental Health Teaching Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.

Start date September £102.96 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, PAYE, term time only Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
