Menswear Designer

About the Role

The Designer supports all areas of menswear jersey design and collaborates with the in-house design team. This role involves preparing for customer meetings, collecting samples, and developing ranges with a focus on print and graphic design. Experience in shape design is a bonus but not essential. The business is fast-paced, requiring the candidate to be reactive, agile, resilient, and well-organized. Experience working for a supplier and with high street fashion retailers is preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a Designer who:

• Has experience in high street fashion design for menswear
• Is commercially aware of current trends and themes, and can develop the brand accordingly
• Works with production to ensure products are designed and manufactured according to customer specifications and deadlines
• Is an excellent communicator, comfortable working with colleagues, customers, factories, and third parties in the Far East and Europe
• Is highly organized, efficient, and able to meet tight deadlines
• Has experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Photoshop, and Illustrator; 3D design skills are a plus
• Can design shapes and graphics, with a focus on graphics
• Has garment technical knowledge and can generate detailed tech packs
• Is driven and results-oriented
• Is proactive, positive, and solutions-focused
• Holds a degree related to fashion design, business, or retail
