Membership Manager

Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary (ongoing)
Pay: £17.50 - £20 per hour (+ holiday)
Start Date: ASAP

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, the UK s only charitable organisation that focuses solely on supporting and promoting the interests of professional proprietors of equestrian establishments, in their search for a temporary Membership Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a small membership team.
• Developing the organisation's membership base, including close cooperation with Marketing.
• General office management and oversight of finance (Xero).
• Organising events, courses, and meetings.
• Representing the organisation nationally and locally.
• Organising the annual conference and annual general meeting, including preparing board agendas and circulating support papers.

The organisation offers a wide variety of membership services with the successful candidate able to enjoy the challenge of this variety. The role is supported by the Membership Support Officer and Membership Accounts Officer and liaises closely with the Training/Projects Manager and the Development Manager.

What We're Looking For:

• Recent experience in a relevant role within the charity sector.
• Confidence managing multiple competing priotities and working towards deadlines.
• High level of administrative and customer service ability.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong IT competencies (particularly Excel and Xero).
