The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Medior C++ Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to client projects in Capelle aan den IJssel.

As a C++ Software Engineer at ALTEN Netherlands, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications across various domains. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to turn technical challenges into innovative, high-quality solutions.

As Medior C++ Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using the C++ programming language
• Translating technical specifications into reliable and efficient code, with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Identifying and resolving technical issues, and implementing effective solutions
• Ensuring software quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices

Your Profile

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field
• At least 4 years of experience in C++ software development
• Solid knowledge of C++ programming, object-oriented principles, and modern development practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
• Excellent communication skills, both within technical teams and towards stakeholders or clients
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow professionally
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

Working Conditions

• You receive a permanent contract
• A lease car with fuel card is provided
