Our busy, friendly GP Practice, based in Lightburn Medical Centre in Carntyne, are looking for a competent, reliable individual to join our small hardworking and supportive reception team.

This is a varied, fast paced environment requiring an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills and be computer literate.

Experience in an administrative role and working with the public would be advantageous.

Our practice uses EMIS and DOCMAN and Microsoft Office Packages. A working knowledge of these computer systems would be helpful, but training will be provided.

Medical Receptionist vacancy at Lightburn Medical Centre. based in the east end of Glasgow.

HOURS REQUIRED - (28 hours per week)

12:00pm - 6:00pm; Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

Salary dependant on experience.

Must be flexible to cover annual leave & sick leave. Flexibility will be required to cover staff holidays/sickness, therefore you will be required to cover shifts between 8.30am and 6.00pm.

The role will include dealing with patients at reception and by telephone, managing the appointment book, filing results, signposting patients to appropriate services, processing a large amount of prescriptions, mail and other administrative services as required.
