Medical Receptionist

Here at Bruce Medical Centre in Bellshill we have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced Medical Receptionist. Bruce Medical Centre is a progressive and friendly working practice, which offers the opportunity to work within modern custom built premises. The Practice has just over 8,500 permanently registered patients.

Applicants should have excellent IT, communication and organisational skills with a confident, courteous and friendly approach to patients, doctors and other members of the team both over the telephone and in person. Primarily the post will also attract the following aspects: general reception work, efficiently dealing with appointments, prescriptions and enquiries in person and by telephone, accurately maintaining and working with clinical data and patient records.

Previous experience of working within a busy Surgery or Hospital environment or similar would be an advantage. You should work well under pressure and be able to work within a team environment. The post is full time, 37 hours over 4 days per week.
