Medical Receptionist

MPA are currently recruiting a Medical Receptionist to work within medical centre in the Limavady area. This position is formaternitycover (1 year). The successful candidate will be working 20 hours per week over 4 days (9am - 1pm or 1pm-5pm).

Job Duties

• The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a busy team
• Answering the phones
• Booking appointments
• You must be able to screen calls and be able to direct to the correct department

Essential Criteria

• 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent
• Have 6 months or more experience of working directly with members of the public in the last three years
• Experience of answering telephones in a high call volume office environment and have experience working as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience using Envision system or Emis
• Experience of working directly with the public in a busy NHS environment in the last three years
• Experience of VISION clinical system
