An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded claimant Clinical Negligence team at a leading London law firm.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of clinical negligence matters whilst also assisting senior lawyers on complex and high-value cases.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the merits of new enquiries and advising on case prospects
• Taking initial client instructions and reviewing supporting documentation
• Conducting preliminary research and case analysis
• Maintaining regular communication with clients and colleagues
• Preparing written advice, including settlement advice
• Drafting witness statements and instructions to counsel and medical experts
• Assisting on complex and high-value litigation

Candidate requirements

• Newly Qualified Solicitor to 3 years' PQE
• Experience in claimant clinical negligence work gained during training or post qualification
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Empathy, resilience and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable clients
