Medical Doctor/ Vascular Doctor - Private Clinic - Bank - Manchester

We seek a Vascular Doctor/Medical Doctor to deliver varicose vein and thread vein treatment across multiple clinics, including Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Leeds, and other locations. Candidates will undergo comprehensive on site training if lacking specific experience.

Location & Hours

• Primary location: Manchester; potential clinical days in Liverpool, Chester, Leeds, and other locations.
• Bank shifts, varying Monday to Saturday.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vascular scientists to diagnose varicose and thread veins during initial assessment appointments.
• Explain treatment options to patients and answer questions.
• Provide clinical recommendations for the number of treatments required for effective thread vein removal.
• Deliver thread vein treatment for patients in clinic.
• Conduct follow up appointments, assess symptom relief, and perform brief ultrasound scans to confirm closure.
• Maintain accurate patient records using clinic software.
• Triage cases requiring further input and coordinate with senior clinical leadership.
• Attend specialty meetings to discuss care pathway, training, or support.
• Deliver compassionate, welcoming patient care.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Medical Degree and a valid license to practice in the United Kingdom.
• Successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience diagnosing and treating varicose veins.
• General practitioner experience (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques.
