The position summary: You will lead the development of relationships and business plans with medical customers that define their value to patients, clinicians, and medical device companies to maximize the commercial opportunity for Stratasys.
In this role: Based in the UK, you will focus on developing influential, partner based relationships with Medical OEMs, influencers, and decision makers involved in furthering the adoption and utilization of 3D Printing. You will work with industry leading medical companies, our marketing team, and other personnel to support the development of applications that utilize Stratasys solutions, producing a positive clinical, patient, and financial return for our current and future medical customers. You will work with reseller partners and Stratasys leaders to propagate these solutions across a broader range of medical customers, driving commercial success and engagement.
Success in this role requires a self starter excited about the impact that AM can have within the medical industry, the ability to demonstrate a strong medical network, and the skill to sell into medical device companies/hospitals while managing the entire sales and application engineering process.
What you will be doing: Sales- Develop and drive innovative solutions within the targeted geography using Stratasys equipment, solutions, and services.
- Educate, coach, and support reseller partners in furthering and closing medical based opportunities.
- Build and close an opportunity pipeline that exceeds quota within the assigned territory.
- Utilize key customer planning, leading indicators, and to ensure visibility and predictability of closure and revenue.
- Define "Customer Success" for core use cases and customer types, and work cross functionally to support the construction of tools, processes, solutions, deliverables, and execution plans necessary to achieve success.
- Consistently engage with customers to identify new applications within the Healthcare & Consumer BU and develop business cases to support their adoption.
- Manage medical application engineers as they engage with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Consistently earn and grow target customer loyalty, maintaining strong partner relationships that maximize the value Additive Manufacturing can deliver within their business.
- Support our Product and Marketing organizations to understand "Voice of Customer" on a consistent basis, ensuring product enhancements and future releases deliver clear, quantifiable value.
- Represent Stratasys as experts in medical OEM solutions by understanding market requirements, our roadmap, and presenting at tradeshows and events in both presentation and small group capacities.
- Understand competitive solutions and key advantages as perceived by targeted customers, communicating these to Product and Marketing to influence development roadmaps.
- Demonstrate commitment to Stratasys Core Values by leading, acting, and behaving consistently with these values.
- Follow all safety policies and attend related training.
- Support medical tradeshows and events.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective sales enablement tools for our reseller network.
- Engage in COEs to maximize impact and influence (e.g., connect opportunities with COE personnel, driving attendance at open houses and events).
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of medical/sales/business development experience, preferably with medical OEMs and a distinct understanding of earning internal and external team support.
- Demonstrated success in growing strategic customer relationships that support application/product development and commercial success.
- Strong drive for results, customer focus, and commitment to quality and timely outcomes.
- Experience working with product and marketing teams to define innovative market and customer opportunities and support their launch.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels.
- Experience selling additive manufacturing (3D Printing) equipment or services.
- Experience with segmentation software/solutions.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems in the regulated medical industry.
- Experience selling capital equipment into Medical OEMs.
- Works from home office; specific work schedule coordinated with supervisor.
- Travel requirement: 50%.
