Mechatronics system designer

In recent years, Lely has introduced a number of groundbreaking robotics solutions to the market and has built a reputation as an exceptionally innovative and reliable supplier for dairy farmers. This demands a stronger focus on our testing methods for new products before they are officially released in the field.We have a team of specialized testers who, in close collaboration with product or design engineers, develop test protocols and testing equipment. Due to our growth, we are now looking to expand this team with a Mechatronics Test Engineer . In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary project team alongside product engineers from the electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines. Reviewing requirements and translating them into test cases; Drawing up the test plan, designing test setups and protocols, and ensuring proper execution of the tests; Performing analyses to identify root causes in case of issues in the field, in order to detect integration problems; Writing test reports and providing recommendations regarding the requirements and release of the product. Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, Electronics, or a comparable field; Affinity with microcontrollers and Realtime Linux, Python, LabVIEW, and FMEA is a plus; Excellent communication skills, including in English, and the ability to present your arguments convincingly in a multidisciplinary team; To address the food demand and challenge for 2050, it is crucial to handle people, animals, and the environment responsibly.
