About the Opportunity

Reed Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside our client, an established M&E services provider with over 47 year's experience delivering high quality projects across the commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, leisure, and residential sectors throughout Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Great Britain.

Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager to join their team.

While the majority of projects are located in Northern Ireland, candidates should be willing to travel to sites in ROI and GB when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time and within budget
• Manage the procurement of day to day materials
• Supervise labour resources and coordinate with other trades on-site
• Ensure installations are completed to the highest standards
• Confirm compliance with the latest industry regulations
• Attend regular progress meetings with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors
• Oversee procurement and management of onsite hire equipment
• Prepare short term look ahead programmes and contribute to overall project planning
• Provide accurate progress and performance reports to the Contracts Manager
• Conduct regular Health, Safety, and Quality inspections

Skills & Qualifications

• Plumbing/heating trade background essential
• Full clean driving licence
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised with a disciplined approach to work
• Ability to multitask and manage pressure effectively
• Self motivated with a proactive "can do" attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Confident working collaboratively within a busy team environment
