Site Manager / Site Engineer - Mechanical Pipework

Due to continued project wins and an increasing workload, we are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Site Engineer to join a leading engineering contractor delivering mechanical installation projects across the industrial and process sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical pipework installations to join a growing team working on high-profile engineering projects.

The Role

As Site Manager / Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities and coordinate labour, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Supervise mechanical pipework installation works.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety legislation.

• Monitor project progress, quality and programme.

• Liaise with clients, project managers and engineering teams.

• Maintain site documentation, RAMS and permits.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Engineer.

• Strong background in mechanical pipework installations (essential).

• Experience working within industrial, process, manufacturing, food & beverage or pharmaceutical environments is advantageous.

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.

• Valid CSCS Card.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
