Mechanical Quality Engineer 
Join a leading General Contractor on a Hyper-scale Data Centre project in Finland. Our client operates across Ireland, Europe, and the UK in sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, and Data Centres.

- Prepare handover inspection, test documentation, and O&M manuals for mechanical systems.
- Coordinate mechanical systems commissioning with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Review and finalize inspection and test documentation for HVAC, plumbing, and associated mechanical services.
- Issue final handover packages to the client.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, specifications, and quality requirements during installation and inspection.
- Conduct quality inspections and manage defect identification and close out.
- Oversee the proper execution of testing and commissioning activities across mechanical systems.
- Liaise with construction management, subcontractors, and clients regarding installation and quality issues.
- Attend quality meetings and contribute to weekly progress reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline and/or a Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- 5+ years' experience in a Mechanical Quality Engineer, QA/QC, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical installations, testing, and commissioning, particularly HVAC, pipework, and associated building services systems.
- Experience working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or Large-Scale Commercial projects is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be based in Ireland or the EU and eligible to work across Europe.
