Description: We are hiring for our client, a leading mechanical engineering company with an excellent track record in delivering large-scale commercial and industrial projects across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The company is well-established in servicing a wide range of sectors, including retail, education, hotel, healthcare, and infrastructure. The company also offers full M&E services to main contractors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to hire an experienced Mechanical QS / Contracts Manager to join their team based in Cookstown, with the flexibility to travel approximately 2 days per week.

The Role:
  • Oversee mechanical contracts, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
  • Manage cost estimation and budgeting for mechanical engineering projects
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Provide solutions-focused support to main contractors, ensuring effective project delivery
The Person:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree / Time Served Plumber
  • 5+ years in a mechanical role, with experience in plumbing / M&E
  • Open to both experienced professionals and those looking to step into a more senior role with a passion to learn
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
