Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Project Manager required for one of Ireland's largest main contractors on a Data Centre project in Frankfurt Germany. The successful candidate will report into the Project Manager.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Mechanical Leadership: Lead all mechanical construction activities, equipment packages, and trade interfaces to deliver project objectives.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures, permits, safe systems of work, and regulatory requirements.
• Quality & Assurance: Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, audits, snagging, and documentation to ensure works meet project standards.
• Design & Planning: Manage design coordination, BIM integration, technical queries, scheduling, resource planning, and material delivery programmes.
• Commercial & Subcontractor Management: Control package costs, procurement, variations, subcontractor performance, and commercial risk.
• Project Delivery & Team Development: Lead commissioning, reporting, project close-out, and support the development and performance of project teams and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering relevant Mechanical Trade qualification.
• 7+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on a Data Centre project would be beneficial.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
