SA Group are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager for a leading M&E Contractor in Dublin for exciting Residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of mechanical packages on residential developments from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Plan, programme and coordinate all mechanical works to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets, labour resources and material procurement to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors and design teams.
  • Ensure all mechanical installations comply with current building regulations, project specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies on site.
  • Identify project risks, resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise programme delays.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and handover documentation.
  • Support the commercial team with valuations, variations and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
  • Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience managing mechanical building services projects, with residential construction experience preferred.
  • Proven track record delivering apartment, housing or mixed-use residential developments from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, public health services, heating and ventilation systems.
  • Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications and mechanical design coordination.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, project programmes and site resources.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation and quality management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and construction management software.
  • Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to project sites as required
