Job Role: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: Circa £60k per annum + Company Vehicle
Location: Midlands / With Travel to Office in Derbyshire

Company Overview:

Our client is a highly successful, independently owned business operating within the waste industry. They provide a comprehensive, reliable service to their utilities and engineering clients, covering everything from nitrogen purging to tank cleaning and preventative maintenance. We are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager .

Role Overview:

This role involves overseeing maintenance and project work for tanks and pumping equipment at water treatment sites.

Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, you will split your time between the office (50%) and on-site locations (50%).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects according to a program of works
• Oversee contractors and direct labour on-site
• Organise and order materials for the site
• Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Liaise with clients

Requirements:

• Mechanical background
• Previous experience in a mechanical supervisory role or relevant mechanical engineering qualifications
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, including the preparation of RAMS and risk assessments
• Full clean driving license
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
