Job Description
Aureol Global Connections seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support ongoing Water/Wastewater maintenance and installation activities across the region.
Role OverviewThe Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will perform installation, repair, upgrades, and maintenance of mechanical systems within Water/Wastewater facilities. The role requires on-site mechanical work, customer support, and compliance with safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assembly and mechanical installation for water/wastewater plants.
- Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems.
- Conduct system repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment.
- Install pumps and complete inspections and maintenance work.
- Work with pipework (PVC, DI, stainless steel).
- Support service and spare sales with technical input.
- Ensure compliance with RAMS, SSOW, and HSQE standards.
- Complete daily reports and documentation.
- Identify and propose improvements to systems and processes.
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
- Water/Wastewater industry experience preferred.
- Experience with pumps, motors, drive systems essential.
- Chemical handling experience an advantage.
- Strong IT skills for reporting.
- Ability to work independently and make on-site decisions.
- Full clean driving licence.
