Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Position: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Location: Flintshire

Hours: 6-2 and 2-10

Salary: £44,921 p/a

The main purpose of the job is to repair and maintain a variety of sheet metal working machine tools. This includes undertaking a range of hydraulic and mechanical work required to identify faults and repair issues in line with best practice and current H&S requirements. This is to ensure the works' plant and equipment are maintained to the required standard to maximise availability, reliability and efficiency and to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees. You will be required to work in a safe, organised, tidy and efficient manner.

Skills and Qualifications

City and Guilds or NVQ qualification in a relevant maintenance subject

Mechanical fitter, experienced in hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, sensor and control systems. Time-served apprentice as a maintenance fitter in an industrial environment

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance environment. Self-motivated, able to work under their own initiative.
