Mechanical Inspector

Based in a busy quality inspection department, you will play a vital role inspecting life-saving cartridges and equipment and completing precise inspections on precision-engineered components.

Location & Hours

Location: Watlington area (close to Watlington) with five days per week on site. You must be able to drive to site or live very close, as public transport links are limited. Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:45pm, Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Mechanical Inspector Requirements

• Previous proven experience of reading technical engineering drawings
• Experience using hand-held inspection tools such as verniers, calipers, etc.
• GD&T knowledge is ideal but not essential
• Experience within a precision manufacturing environment, ideally Aerospace or Automotive

Mechanical Inspector Salary & Benefits

As a Mechanical Inspector, you will earn a starting salary of up to £30,000 plus benefits including:

• Premium Overtime Rate at 1.5x (5 - 10 hours per week available)

• Annual Bonus of 1% - 3% of yearly salary (including overtime)
