Mechanical Fitter

Hours:Days role - 7:00am - 4:00pm

We're working with a well-established food manufacturing site in Bandon looking to add a Mechanical Fitter to their team.

This is adays-based rolewith consistent overtime available, offering strong earning potential and good work-life balance compared to shift environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across plant and equipment
  
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
  
• Mechanical repair, fabrication, and installation work
  
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance planning
  
• Work closely with production to keep operations running smoothly
  
• Ensure compliance with H&S, hygiene, and quality standards
  

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years' experience in a maintenance / mechanical engineering role
  
• Strong mechanical background with basic electrical fault-finding ability
  
• Experience in manufacturing (food/FMCG ideal, but not essential)
  
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
  
• Team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment
