Mechanical Engineer - 12822
Mechanical Engineer required to join one of Europe's leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a Data Centre project in Finland. The Mechanical Engineer will report into the Mechanical Project Manager and be responsible for working with a team of Mechanical sub-contractors ensuring the successful delivery of Mechanical systems.
Responsibilities- Handle client communications relevant to the project.
- Design management.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Develop method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.
- Ensure all HVAC deliverables meet project and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to schedule and sequence pipework installations according to planned dates.
- Evaluate and manage the project from a commercial perspective, ensuring validation at handover from estimating and progressing through to the complete technical procurement of all equipment, specialized subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Support the management of project installation work, ensuring consistently high standards on site, and oversee the programme through to final commissioning and handover.
- Assist in documenting and costing changes to work scopes, and in the preparation of monthly valuations and the final account.
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- 3+ Years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
- Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Salary €65,000 to €80,000 DOE
