Mechanical Design Engineer - Offshore Industries

Location: Newcastle (with potential national and international travel)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering high-quality design solutions within the Offshore Industries. This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects across all phases of the engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop technical solutions for complex engineering challenges, including concept and detailed design, calculations, analysis, and preparation of technical documentation.
2. Own and deliver assigned work scopes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required specification and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with and take guidance from senior engineers and project leads.

What We're Looking For:

1. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (BEng/MEng minimum).
2. Proven experience in engineering design and development.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
