We are currently seeking Mechanical Assembly Operative to carry out various tasks in our busy manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical/ DIY/ manual experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production equipment and finishing products.

Suitable candidates must demonstrate flexibility that is consistent with the Company's needs, attention to detail with a strong work ethic. The roles will involve manual work in our manufacturing plant.

• Use power tools such as drills, saws, abrasive tools, etc.
• Measure and mark out materials
• Cut materials to size as outlined on drawings
• General mechanical fit out of modular structures
• Positioning and fitting parts for welding
• Read and follow instructions issued by supervisor/manager
• Ensure safety standards are always met
• Read basic engineering drawings
• DIY background
• Previous construction trade may be an advantage
• Good hand-to-eye coordination
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
