Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer who is looking to add an experienced Mechanical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic Fitter to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week period.
Working Hours:- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
- Assemble, install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems on commercial vehicles
- Fit and repair components including pumps, valves, cylinders, pipework and associated equipment
- Read and work from technical drawings, schematics and build specifications
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Support refurbishment projects and new vehicle builds
- Maintain quality, safety and production standards at all times
- Previous experience in a Mechanical, Hydraulic or Pneumatic Fitter role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
