Job Description

As a Mechanical / Electrical Panel Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical control panels, sub assemblies, and mechanical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Your role involves panel wiring, routing, termination, labeling, installing electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, and terminals, performing mechanical assembly tasks, and conducting inspections and basic testing to ensure quality compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical control panels, sub-assemblies, and mechanical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Perform panel wiring, routing, termination, and labeling to company and industry standards.
  • Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, and terminals.
  • Carry out mechanical assembly tasks including mounting components, drilling, cutting, and fitting enclosures.
  • Conduct inspections and basic testing of assemblies to ensure functionality and quality compliance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as required.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and records.
  • Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
  • Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment (preferably instrumentation or panel building).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with assembly tools, wiring techniques, and industrial components.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
