Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our Academy from September 2026 for a fixed term of 1 year.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is flexible, dedicated and passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences.

This is an exciting time to join Paignton Academy as we respond to increasing student numbers and continue our journey of rapid improvement. Two major capital projects, totalling over £4 million, have recently been completed, and the Academy has undergone a superb transformation to support students in Years 7-11 across two sites.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
• Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the Academy

This post would be suitable for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher.
