Academics Ltd are supporting a well-regarded secondary school with a thriving sixth form in Swindon that is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September. You will teach both GCSE and A-Level students, helping them achieve their full potential and fostering a love of Maths.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A-Level).
• Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they achieve strong academic outcomes.
• Differentiate lessons to challenge students at all ability levels.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively.
• Create a positive, engaging, and academically focused classroom environment.
• Contribute to the development of the Maths department and support sixth form provision.

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths at KS4 and KS5 is highly desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths education.
• Ability to challenge and stretch high-achieving students.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
