We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher with UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a welcoming and vibrant secondary school in Oxford.
This full time role begins March 2026 and is a long term placement. As the newly appointed Maths Teacher, you will receive strong support from the Head of Department and a team of experienced staff. You will teach Mathematics up to GCSE level and participate in collaborative team planning.
Pay RateDaily rates start at £145, rising to £232.57 for more experienced teachers with UK recognised QTS.
QTS is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering high quality Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive classroom environment and effectively managing behaviour
- Providing guidance and clear direction to classroom support staff
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to departmental planning
- UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Full time availability
- Specialism or experience teaching Mathematics in UK secondary schools
