• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach Mathematics to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with the potential to teach at KS5.
• Engage, motivate, and inspire students to achieve their maximum potential in Mathematics.
• Develop and deliver interactive and high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and styles.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and interventions as necessary to promote student success.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department to share resources, strategies, and best practices.
• Participate in departmental and school-wide professional development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels; ability to teach KS5 is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and current teaching methods.
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters diversity and promotes high standards of student behaviour.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
