Maths Teaching Assistant - SEMH

Are you passionate about Maths and making a difference to young people's lives?

An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Maths Teaching Assistant within a specialist SEMH provision.

You'll support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, delivering targeted interventions, GCSE and Functional Skills support while helping students develop confidence in mathematics.

You will

• Deliver small group Maths interventions
• Support GCSE and Functional Skills
• Build confidence in learners
• Adapt learning to individual needs
• Work closely with teaching staff
• Promote positive behaviour

We're looking for

• Maths background or strong Maths knowledge
• SEMH, SEND or Alternative Provision experience
• Confident behaviour management
• Patient and adaptable approach
• DBS on the Update Service preferred
