Duties as Maths or Music Teacher

• Teach either Maths or Music full time depending on subject specialism
• Deliver well planned lessons in line with curriculum requirements
• Adapt teaching to support varied learning needs and abilities
• Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
• Support pupils in developing subject specific skills and understanding
• Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Maths or Music Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Maths or Music teaching experience
• Confident teaching across relevant secondary year groups
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
• Able to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Reflective, proactive, and committed to high quality teaching
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being
