Job Description

Materials Manager
Our client is looking for a hands-on Materials Manager who can keep major construction and EPC projects moving by making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. This role is ideal for someone who understands onsite material control, vendor coordination, receiving, warehousing, and the real-world urgency of supporting field execution.

Compensation: $90K - $120K DOE

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead onsite material management activities in alignment with construction schedules
  • Oversee material receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, and issuance
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, procurement, engineering, and construction teams
  • Manage material control systems, warehouse activity, and laydown yard operations
  • Support logistics planning and ensure materials are available when needed
  • Track, document, and communicate material status, issues, and delivery needs
  • Help keep field execution moving by resolving material gaps before they slow the project down

What You'll Need to be Considered:

  • Experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or laydown yard operations
  • Construction or EPC project environment experience
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, and material issuance
  • Experience with material control, inventory management, or ERP systems
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • J.D. Edwards experience or a related degree in construction, supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a similar field is a plus
