Materials and Distribution Officer

Materials & Distribution Officer Penicuik £25,000 - £27,000 (DOE) Monday-Friday, Dayshift, 37.5 hours per week We're looking for a proactive Materials & Distribution Officer to join our warehouse and inventory team within a global medical device organisation. This is a hands-on role where you'll support stock control, distribution, and dispatch processes, ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards and warehouse Health & Safety requirements. What you'll do: Manage stock movement - booking, distributing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Maintain accurate records Support warehouse tasks such as stock checks, replenishment, and disposal. Uphold GMP/GDP standards and Health & Safety requirements. Work independently while collaborating effectively within the wider team. What we're looking for: Familiarity with inventory management systems. Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety best practice. A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to handle both varied and routine tasks. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Previous warehouse or GMP/GDP experience desirable. What's on offer: Competitive salary £25,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience). Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
