Are you a data person with a passion for structure, process, and data quality?

We're working with a leading UK pharmaceutical manufacturing company that plays a vital role in the healthcare sector. With international reach and strong year-on-year growth, they provide everything from medicine distribution to market access support and they're now building out their internal Data & Analytics function from scratch.

This is a newly created role where you'll take ownership of the Master Data capability. You'll be part of a small team, embed best practices, build out documentation, and ensure data is governed, structured, and maintained to high standards across the business.

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading a team of Master Data Controllers

  • Managing SOPs, process docs, and quality checklists

  • Monitoring data quality and ensuring SLA compliance

  • Acting as the organisation's main data steward

  • Driving continuous improvements in governance and master data workflows

What they're looking for:
  • Proven Master Data Management experience

  • Strong leadership and process-mapping skills

  • Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality frameworks

  • Confident with Excel (advanced level); SQL, Power BI OR other technical skills desirable

  • Methodical, organised, and confident communicating across teams

Bonus points if you've worked in regulated industries, especially healthcare or pharma, or have experience with product codes (like DM+D) or frameworks like DAMA/CDMP or Lean Six Sigma.

The Offer:
  • Up to £50,000 basic salary

  • Remote (occasional office travel)

  • Private healthcare

  • Great pension contributions

  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave

  • Cycle to work scheme, employee discounts, free parking, and more

You'll join a well-backed data team with the autonomy to shape how master data is governed across a business doing genuinely meaningful work in healthcare.
