Job Summary

Thisrole works in close collaboration with the Head of Fleet Operations and SeniorMasters to ensure the safety and great customer experience of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities

• Thesafe operation of the vessel under the Thames Clipper Safety Management System(SMS)
• Ensuring the Thames Clippervessels are operated to the highest possible standards
• Maintaining the vessel, incompliance with all relevant legislation
• Carry out good shipmanagement duties, defect & incident reporting;
• Operating Thames Clippervessels in alignment with our service delivery requirements, with a primaryemphasis on maintaining customer satisfaction & vessel housekeeping
• Ensure team membersdiligently inspect tickets at boarding locations, placing a significantemphasis on revenue protection
• Leadyour team in delivering great customer service, ensuring a great experience forall
  
• Experience in close quarters vessel handling and or inland waterways
• International Safety Management Code (ISM) & International codefor High Speed Craft (HSCC)

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• MCA Boat Master's Licence, Tier 1 Level 2, or relevant transferablelicenses
  
• (Ref: MCA MSN1853 (M) Amendment 1 - Annex 4 & 5)
  
• Current ML5 or ENG 1 Medical Certificate
