Marketing Executive

Role Overview:

The 4-star Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club has an exciting opportunity for a creative, energetic and digitally savvy Marketing Executive to join our growing team.

The Marketing Executive position is a hands-on role for someone who understands that great hotel marketing is about more than posting pretty pictures. It's about telling stories, creating desire, building engagement and turning followers into guests. This is a part-time role that will be between 16 and 24 hours per week excluding breaks. Working days will be predominantly between Monday and Friday but working weekends will sometimes be required.

The hotel is just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre, only a 25-minute drive from Dublin City Centre, and easily accessible by national rail and bus.

Main Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Group Marketing Manager, manage the hotel's day-to-day social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms
• Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar
• Create engaging, relevant and on-brand content and copy across video, reels, stories, photography, email marketing, website content and promotional campaigns
• Ensure all content reflects the hotel's brand identity and tone of voice
• Support the planning and delivery of hotel marketing campaigns throughout the year
• Develop social campaigns around key commercial periods, including Christmas, weddings, family breaks, leisure stays, dining, events and conferences
• Assist with the planning and promotion of hotel events, launches, activations and promotional activity

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in marketing, social media, digital marketing, hospitality, tourism, lifestyle or a similar environment is desirable
• Proven experience managing social media channels is highly desirable
• Experience creating short-form video and photography content is an advantage
• Knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling platforms, Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems (CMS) would be beneficial
• A strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok is essential
