Marketing Executive

GL events is a lively and diverse business which supplies temporary infrastructure to events, as well as industrial markets. It contains seven separate business units which operate across the UK and Ireland.

Executive

to

join

the

GL

events

UK

team,

based

in

Castle

Donignton.

A central marketing team, based out of Castle Donington, manages and develops the marketing activity for all seven brands, with a strong focus on digital marketing and lead generation.

A Marketing Executive is sought to work across three of our business units and supporting the Marketing Managers of those unitsinthe development of content for websites, design for online channels, creation of blogs and social media content, email marketing, and in the management of customer data through our CRM. The role will also assist with the co-ordination of presence at trade shows and exhibitions, and in the management of the collection of customer satisfaction feedback via digital surveys.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintainingthecontentofwebsitesand developing blog content
• Developmentofemailcampaignsincludingthedesignandsendingof e-shots, and reporting on results.
• Liaisingwithcustomers tocreatecompellingcasestudiesandobtaintestimonials.
• Liaisingwithbusiness units to buildlibraryofimages andcommission professional photography as required.
• Socialmediamanagement-creatingplansandpostsprimarilyforLinkedIn but also potentially Instagram and Twitter and analysis of results.
• Assistance with design tasks including social media graphics, PDFs, infographics, brochure updates and others as needed.
• Co-ordinatingthepresenceofbusiness unitsattradeshowsandexhibitions;liaisonwith suppliers and management of logistics.
• ManagementofcustomerdatathroughHubSpotCRM.
• Tracking enquiry attribution, and reporting on ROI of PPC activity
• SupportingtheMarketingTeamtoimprovetheorganicrankingofwebsites and delivery of SEO improvement plan.
• WorkingknowledgeofaCMS(Craft wouldbeanadvantage)
• Strongcommunicationskills
• StrongMicrosoftOfficeSkills
• Experience of email marketing software
• Experience of events and exhibitions
• Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator/Acrobat/InDesign/Dreamweaver)
• Experience of using a CRM (HubSpot would be an advantage)
• Experience of using video editing software
