Marketing Content Data Scientist

Overview

At Kortical we are on a mission to enable any company to be an AI company by providing world class tooling to enable data scientists to deliver ML solutions quickly, with full transparency and editable in code.

About the role

The role is primarily to generate content that data scientists will find interesting based on our platform. This can be articles, tutorials, YouTube videos, emails and/or social posts-whatever the right medium is for the message to reach the target audience.

The content will be used on our platform to drive leads and also for outbound sales to heads of data science or data scientists themselves. You will work closely with the founders to develop a content strategy and plan, perform any necessary data-science work to bring it to life, determine required visuals, and execute the plan with support from designers and a web developer for polish. You will test and iterate based on data and continue to progress the marketing content. This role offers opportunities to flex both creative and data science skills and to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Generate engaging content for data scientists (articles, tutorials, videos, emails, social posts)
• Collaborate with founders on content strategy and execution
• Perform data-science work as needed to support content creation
• Identify and create visuals to accompany content
• Test, iterate, and optimise content based on data
• Partner with the designer and web developer to enhance content quality

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven writing ability, demonstrated professionally or via self-published work
• Excellent command of English, with awareness of current slang and expressions
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with customers and colleagues
• Ability to communicate credibly with data-science experts
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
