People are at the heart of what we do. We're looking for a Marketing Content & Bid Writing Lead to join our Sales & Marketing team and play a critical role in positioning Lynch as a trusted, expert, full-service delivery partner across major infrastructure projects.
This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership. You'll lead Lynch's customer-facing long-form content and the end-to-end bid and tender writing process, ensuring everything we submit is compelling, compliant, consistent and fully aligned with the Lynch brand.
What you'll do:- Own and lead Lynch's long-form written content across marketing, bids and customer communications
- Lead the full bid and tender lifecycle, including PQQs, ITTs, RFQs and framework submissions
- Research, plan, write and edit high-quality, persuasive and fully compliant bid responses
- Analyse customer requirements, evaluation criteria and scoring models to maximise bid performance
- Develop clear, customer-focused method statements covering mobilisation, logistics, service delivery, maintenance, health & safety and operational approach
- Translate complex technical and on-site delivery information into clear, persuasive content
- Create impactful case studies, thought leadership, reports, newsletters and capability materials
- Write engaging copy for the website, presentations, brochures and sales collateral
- Lead and manage content calendars for social media and Director profiles, aligned to business priorities
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to align written content with visual, video and campaign activity
- Coordinate inputs from Sales, Operations, Depot Teams, HSEQ, Key Accounts and Senior Leadership
- Manage bid timelines and ensure all submissions are accurate, professional and delivered on time
- Support the sales team with presentation content and bid-related responses
A key part of this role is improving consistency, efficiency and win rates. You'll:
- Own and continuously develop a centralised bid and content library
- Maintain version control across responses, method statements, case studies, CVs, policies and evidence
- Ensure content remains accurate, compliant and aligned with current fleet, services and accreditations
- Identify reusable content and best-practice responses to reduce bid preparation time
- Capture feedback from successful and unsuccessful bids to refine messaging and approach
- Develop templates and standard responses to support faster, higher-quality submissions
- Work closely with internal teams to gather accurate technical, operational and commercial information
- Facilitate collaborative input sessions and content reviews with subject-matter experts
- Act as the central coordination point for written content across multiple stakeholders
- Proofread and quality-check all marketing and bid content for clarity, accuracy and consistency
- Lead post-bid reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
We're looking for an experienced professional who brings energy, structure and attention to detail to this role.
- Proven experience in marketing, communications and bid writing
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong focus on long-form content
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and technical teams
- A collaborative, structured and detail-driven approach
Experience within plant hire, construction or infrastructure environments
