We are seeking a talented and technically-savvy Marketing Automation Specialist to join our IT-DevOps team. In this role, you will be the linchpin for our commercial technology stack, ensuring our sales, marketing, and customer support teams have the seamless, integrated tools they need to succeed. Your primary focus will be on the HubSpot platform, working with modern APIs and data models to enhance our efficiency and capabilities. Join our innovative organization at an exciting time as we scale our operations and expand our technical horizons. If you are passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges, your skills will be instrumental in driving our growth.
Your role:
You will be the central point of contact for all things related to our HubSpot ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the connections between HubSpot and our other critical business applications. Your work will ensure data flows securely and reliably across the company, empowering our commercial teams with the information they need. You will engage in all stages of the integration lifecycle, from conceptualization and requirements gathering with stakeholders to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust integrations between HubSpot and other third-party applications, including our internal systems.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for our marketing automation platform (HubSpot), possessing a deep understanding of its architecture, data models, and API capabilities.
- Work closely with Customer Support, Marketing, and Sales teams to understand their technical requirements and deliver effective integration solutions that enhance their workflows and efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between commercial departments and the IT-DevOps team, translating business needs into technical specifications and vice-versa.
- Demonstrate a strong affinity and literacy with data models, APIs, and network security protocols to ensure the secure and efficient transfer of data between systems.
- Independently manage integration projects from conception to completion, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and improve our existing marketing automation strategies, integrations, and workflows.
- Provide expert-level support for all HubSpot and integration-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Automation Specialist, or in a similar technical role, for a minimum of 3 years.
- In-depth, hands-on expertise with a major marketing automation platform is required. Direct experience with HubSpot is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and data integration best practices.
- A solid grasp of data modeling, database concepts, and data security principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and independent problem-solver who can take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
- Familiarity with other CRM or marketing automation platforms is a strong asset.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in-person from our HQ in Sassenheim for 3-4 days a week minimum (this is not a remote position!).
What we offer:
- An attractive salary and bonus structure.
- Full-time contract.
- Flexible working hours (including working from home Wednesdays).
- 30 vacation days per year.
- Free lunch and free office gym.
- 20 workation days per year to work remotely from anywhere.
- The opportunity to work in an enthusiastic, international team in a creative environment, focused on people, growth, and collaboration.
